Olympic Athlete Spotlight

Craftsmanship and athleticism – two integral components to becoming an Olympic biathlete and Tim Burke has both. The biathlon is a competition that involves two separate skills: Cross-country skiing and rifle marksmanship. The difficulty of this event lies in the ability to combine the physical demands of skiing with the mental prowess of firing a rifle. Tim won silver and bronze medals in the biathlon’s World Cup competition and is a real contender for being the first American to win an Olympic biathlon medal at the Vancouver Winter Games.
