Military Weight Standards

The Air Force offers one list for both men and women based on height. For someone who is 6’ tall, the minimum weight is 140 pounds and the maximum is 202 pounds. For someone measuring 5’5”, the minimum weight is 114 pounds and the maximum is 165 pounds.

The maximum body fat percentage allowed for men is 20 percent for those under 30 years of age and 24 percent for those over 30. The maximum body fat percentage allowed for women is 28 percent for those under 30 and 32 percent for those over 30.
