Daniel and Rebecca started a long distance phone romance after both contestants had left the show. Daniel was able to compete in seasons seven and eight of Biggest Loser. He and Rebecca met during their time at the ranch on season eight. Rebecca remained at the ranch long enough to take advantage of the makeover portion of the show. At an appearance on the Jay Leno Show, Rebecca revealed that she and Daniel were a couple. She and Daniel were visibly affectionate during the season eight finale when Rebecca took home the at-home prize for her weight loss of 140 pounds. They now live together in Des Moines.
