Sessions at a Yoga Studio

2011 Yogi Gift Guide

Whether the gift recipient on your list is a seasoned yogi, a mom-to-be looking for relief, or a fit-friend you're inviting to the practice, a gift certificate to a local yoga studio will no doubt be well received. With cost being a huge barrier to entry for fitness in general, knowing that a few sessions, or a few months of sessions, are already paid for will make it that much easier for your loved one to get moving.

If you aren't familiar with any yoga studios, ask your friend where they like to practice. If you're investigating on your own, look at studio websites in your town. Most should have their teachers' certifications published, and a RYT500 (registered yoga teachers with 500 hours experience) is a good sign. Another option is to use a site like YogaFinder, which will deliver a list of studios in your city.

Prices will vary by studio.
