Weight Watchers Buffalo Chicken

That famous buffalo flavor you can prepare yourself.

WW points per serving = 5

Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup red hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter"
  • 1/4 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbs. white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Buffalo Sauce

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine everything except the chicken
  2. Let this mixture simmer, stirring occasionally, while you prepare chicken

Chicken

  1. Bring large saucepan with water to boil
  2. Cut chicken into strips and boil until cooked through
  3. When cooked, put chicken in a serving bowl or dish
  4. Pour sauce over chicken and let sit for a few minutes

Variation

  1. Cut chicken into strips
  2. Lightly coat chicken with sauce
  3. Bake in preheated 375 degree F oven for 15-20 minutes, until cooked through
  4. Remove to platter and coat with remaining sauce
