Sugarless Bars
A Chewy and Wholesome bar that is great for meals on the go!
Yield: 16 bars
Ingredients
- 3 bananas, mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. Saffola
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Instructions
- Combine flour, and spices, mixing well; set aside
- Cream bananas, eggs, saffola, buttermilk, and vanilla, blending well
- Add dry ingredients, then add dates, nuts and oats
- Pour into greased 9x13 inch baking pan
- Bake in 325 degree oven for about 25 minutes or until done
- Let cool completely and cut into 16 bars
- May add flax seed and sunflower seed for enhanced protein and nutrition
