Sloppy Joes

This is a treat the kids will love.

Nutrition Facts: Carbohydrates 1.7g
Yield: Serves 6


  • 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
  • 1- 7.5 oz. can tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • dash hot pepper sauce
  • Low-carb hamburger buns (optional)


  1. In a large skillet, cook meat until brown
  2. Drain off fat (remove from skillet and pat meat with paper towels)
  3. Return to skillet and stir in undrained tomatoes, water, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, garlic
    salt and hot pepper sauce
  4. Bring to a boil
  5. Reduce heat, simmer, for 5-10 minutes or until desired consistency
