
Atkins Friendly Recipe
Low Carb Clam Chowder
Traditional clam chowder minus the carbs.
Yield: Serves 4
Ingredients
- 3 slices turkey bacon, cut into small pieces, cooked
- 1 -6 oz. can chopped clams, with juice
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup light cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook bacon
- Add the clams and water
- Cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes
- Turn off the heat and add the cream, salt and pepper
