Lazy Cabbage

This zesty cabbage recipe is sure to please.

Yield: Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. low-fat or turkey sausage
  • Chopped onion and green bell pepper
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2- 28 oz. cans tomatoes (drain one)
  • 1/2 cup Minute rice (dry)

Instructions

  1. Brown meat, onion and pepper
  2. Drain any fat
  3. Combine all ingredients together in a sprayed 9 x 13-inch pan
  4. Bake at 325 degrees F, covered, for 1 1/2 hours
  5. Top with salsa for serving, if desired
