Grilled Salmon Burger

Fresh flavor in a fresh take on grilled burgers.

Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

  • Olive oil spray
  • 1 lb. skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1” cubes
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • Zest of one lime
  • 1 Tbsp. peeled and minced fresh ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp. low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ tsp. ground coriander
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Lightly coat rack with the olive oil cooking spray.

  2. In a food processor, pulse salmon cubes just enough to grind coarsely.

  3. Transfer salmon to a large bowl and mix in: Dijon mustard, lime zest, ginger, cilantro, soy sauce and coriander.

  4. Form salmon into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Grill burgers, turning once, until done, 4 minutes on each side for medium.

  6. Garnish with fresh lime wedges.

This was the most delicious (and healthiest) salmon burgers that I've ever tasted. Very easy to prepare and cook! Love it!!!

I love this soooo much! During the winter I used the frozen salmon fillets from Walmart for 4$ a bag! awesome flavor!

This had to have been one of the best recipes that I have come upon! It is absolutely easy to make and enjoyable! Very enjoyable!! Even if you don't have certain ingredients, it is perfect! (I didn't have lime or propane and can't eat black pepper)...
