Fireside Chili
Traditional chili with a healthy twist.
Yield: Serves 8
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs. Olive Oil
- 2 lbs. lean beef chuck roast, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 3 Tbs. Swanson's low-sodium beef broth
- 3 Tbs. chili powder
- 2 Tbs. hot pepper sauce
- 2 tsp. Oregano
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2- 16 oz. cans kidney beans, undrained
- 1- 16 oz. can stewed tomatoes, undrained
Instructions
- In Dutch oven, brown beef and onion in hot oil
- Stir in all remaining ingredients
- Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat
- Simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender
- Serve with your favorite toppings
