Egg Substitute

Make your own egg substitute, fresh every time!


Yield: Makes 1 egg

Ingredients

  • 1 TBS dry milk
  • 2 egg whites, from lg. eggs
  • 2 tsp. corn oil
  • 4 drops yellow food coloring
  • Sm. bowl

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle powdered milk over egg whites and oil
  2. Beat with fork until blended
  3. Add coloring
  4. Beat until smooth
  5. Makes 1 egg; recipe may be increased, add food coloring until the desired color is achieved

I wonder how this compares to egg beaters. I woudl personally leave out teh food coloring. posted Oct 5th, 2008 12:14 am
