Cole Slaw
Nothing goes better with barbecue!
Yield: Serves 4 (1/2 cup serving)
Ingredients
- 1 TBS finely chopped onion
- 1 TBS low fat mayonnaise
- 2 TBS apple cider or white wine vinegar
- 2 c. finely shredded cabbage, green or purple or a combination of the two
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix dressing ingredients and toss with cabbage
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds (or wheat germ)
- For an added health benefit, add shredded carrot and shredded broccoli stem
