Chicken Cordon Bleu
Classic chicken cordon bleu without the carbs.
Yield: Serves 4
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices of lean ham
- 4 Swiss cheese slices
- 1 Tbs. melted butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Flatten chicken
- Roll up with ham and Swiss cheese; secure with a toothpick
- Combine egg and butter
- Dip chicken in butter and then in Parmesan cheese
- Place in greased baking dish
- Bake at 350º F for about 35 minutes or until golden brown
