Cabbage Beef Crescent Bake

A recipe perfect for a large group.

Nutrition Facts: Calories 192; Fat 8g; Fiber 1g;

Yield: Serves 8

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. extra lean ground sirloin or turkey breast
  • 3 1/2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. any meat seasoning
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 can Pillsbury reduced fat Crescent Rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. In a large skillet sprayed with butter cooking spray, brown meat
  3. Stir in cabbage, onion and meat seasoning
  4. Continue cooking until cabbage is tender, about 5 minutes
  5. Add mushroom soup, cheese, and pepper
  6. Mix well to combine
  7. Lower heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes
  8. Unroll crescent rolls and pat into a rimmed 13 x 9-inch baking sheet, being sure to seal the perforations
  9. Evenly spread cabbage mixture over rolls
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crust is golden brown
  11. Place baking sheet on a wire rack and let set for 5 minutes
  12. Cut into 8 servings
