Brownie Torte
Brownie torte with a low-carb twist.
Yield: Serves 5
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup high gluten flour
- 1 Tbs. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbs. espresso or coffee (liquid)
- 2 oz. bitter chocolate
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup Splenda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325F
- For filling, combine flour with cocoa & cinnamon
- Melt chocolate over double boiler & combine with espresso
- Blend cream cheese, sugar, vanilla & eggs
- Add chocolate mix to cream cheese mix
- Gradually stir in flour mix
- Pour into prepared crust
- Bake for 30 minutes
