Blueberry Smoothie

A super food that is loaded with antioxidants.

Yield: 1 Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup plain, low-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 cup washed, stemmed blueberries
  • honey to taste
  • 2 cups of ice

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Serve while it’s cold

I just picked 6 pints of blueberrys at local farm. I plan on drinking plenty of smoothies

I agree with Beanie 1/4 cup of ice is plenty.

i thought the 2 cups of ice were a bit much. i used about 1/4-1/2. otherwise it gets way too watered down. otherwise, super yummy!!

1 cup of blueberries with 1 container of yogurt and 1/4 c. skim milk with some ice is supper!
