Baked Apples
A tried and true recipe for any lowfat dessert lover!
Yield:
Ingredients
- 6 or 8 apples
- 1 can diet cherry cola
- Raisins, if desired
- Ground Cinnamon to taste
Instructions
- Core apples and place in Pyrex baking dish
- Stuff cavity with raisins, if so desired
- Pour one can diet soda over apples
- Bake in moderate oven (350 to 375 degrees) until apples are tender
- For a decadent touch, add two tablespoons of fat free sugar free non-dairy whipped topping
