Bacon Cheese Muffins
Muffins bursting with bacon and cheese.
Yield: Serves 6
Ingredients
- 1 cup high gluten flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 eggs, beaten
- shredded cheese
- 16 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400º F
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt
- In a separate bowl, combine cream, water and eggs
- Mix wet and dry ingredients
- Stir in shredded cheese and bacon
- Pour into muffin tin
- Bake for 20 minutes

disagree with the person stating this is all fat. First of all you can substitute with all whites for eggs and use the meat substitute for bacon. Also, the wheat gluten has nutrients to increase protein. This will allow for you to stay full longer.
