8 ounces tomato sauce
1 teaspoon ground anise seed
3 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoon tomato paste
Mix all ingredients together well in a small mixing bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use - up to one week. You can also freeze it for up to 3 months. Use this sauce like you would regular barbecue sauce. It tastes great on grilled fish, poultry and vegetables.
