Yield:Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1- 14 oz. can tomatoes, with juice

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until crisp in a large pot, then remove bacon
  2. Saute turkey in the bacon drippings
  3. Add garlic, green pepper, cumin, and chili powder
  4. Add remaining ingredients
  5. Crumble bacon and return with the turkey to the pot
  6. Simmer for 25 minutes
