Yield:Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs. Olive Oil
  • 2 lbs. lean beef chuck, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 3 Tbs. Swanson's beef broth
  • 3 Tbs. chili powder
  • 2 Tbs. hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tsp. Oregano
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2- 16 oz. cans kidney beans, undrained
  • 1- 16 oz. can stewed tomatoes, undrained

Instructions

  1. In Dutch oven, brown beef and onion in hot oil
  2. Stir in all remaining ingredients
  3. Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat
  4. Simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender
  5. Serve with your favorite toppings
