Our resident fitness expert, Mathue Johnson, explains in The Truth About Abs that the way to a flat stomach isn't crunches and sit-ups alone, but instead those exercises combined with a cardio regimen and a healthy diet. He says "Muscle tissue and fat tissue are two different types of tissue and you need to burn the fat tissue before you can see that six pack."
