No HTML please.
The hCG protocol calls for a very restricted diet of 500 calories per day. We would not recommend this diet to anyone, especially not diabetics.
Iam a Type 2 Diabetic and started the HCG shots and diet 5 weeks ago. My sugars have come down dramatically but I have not lost a single pound. Also I am completed exausted and fatigued every day. My muscles hurt and by 4pm every day I am on the couch wanting to go to sleep. I have never in my life been so depleted of energy and apart from bringing my high sugars down- i have nothing positive about how my body feels since being on this diet. The Doctor that I see for the HCG put me on a 1000 calorie diet with only 2 servings of carbs per day- it's so difficult to maintain any energy with this tiny amount of carbs for energy. I paid just under $1000 for the 12 week program but regret it.
