On April 5, Good Morning America health contributor Jane E. Allen wrote about the frenzy that has followed raspberry ketones ever since Dr. Oz put the newest diet supplement on the map last month.

Our nutrition contributor, Mary Hartley, RD, MPH was outspoken at the time of the episode, dismissing Dr. Oz's endorsement as nothing more than TV hype.

Today, Mary spoke with Jane and was quoted in her article, saying "People are willing to take chances. It's amazing how many people look for a miracle instead of looking at what they're eating and how much they're moving and fixing whatever is broken."
