Brooklyn, NY October 6, 2010 — In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, announced today its third annual Blogs Against Breast Cancer promotion to help raise money for those affected by breast cancer.

In October, will ask bloggers to unite as a community and wear a “My Blog Cares” badge on their blogs. For each badge posted during the month of October, will donate $5 for each published badge, up to $500, to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

For the first time, has partnered with VML, a digital marketing agency that has offered to match each $5 donation with one of the same amount.

“We are thrilled to be working with VML and the National Breast Cancer Foundation for our annual Blogs Against Breast Cancer promotion,” said Brandi Koskie, senior editor, “Of the many issues that affect our female readership, breast cancer is an important one.” aims to provide readers with a community where they can learn tips and information to help people live a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise choices. Readers and visitors can pick up the “My Blog Cares” badge on and notify editors of their participation.
