Jill Lawson taught her first aerobics class in the summer of 1992. Since then she has earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and then went on to earn a master’s degree in physical education from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. In 1999 she became a certified Power Yoga instructor and then in 2004 dove in head first to live the classical teachings of yoga at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram during a life changing, teacher training intensive.
