I am on day 4 the first 2 days I was bloated from all of the fruit and veggies and was going to the bathroom alot...I have already lost 5 pounds but will have to cheat a little on Day 6 for a friends birthday. Day 3 I also cheated a bit I had a couple bites of cake and some peas! I hope to be able to do the diet for two weeks, I've never been able to stick to any diet before but this one is really easy for me. I also added a lot of cayenne pepper to the half of the soup so I have a spicy one and regular to switch things up. Good luck to everyone!

stacy, i think it's from the extreme flip of your diet that your experiencing that. only if it is an extreme flip cause it's a detox diet. your also eating alot of fruit which makes you go to the bathroom but be sure to drink alot of water because diarrhea comes from being dehydrated! hope it helps :) i started this diet mainly for detox, and to shed a couple pounds to jump start. im on my second day and ive been feeling good. i can't have alot of fruit cause i have candidas so i has some plain yogurt with fruit for the first day and i put a little chicken in the soup. but so far so good. i've been really focusing also on portion control which i feel will help after the diet is over to maintain weight loss. several small meals a day does the trick! lots of water :)

I am on the first day and I think it's going pretty well. I am not having any cravings, except for this morning I craved bacon really bad, and I don't normally eat it. I've been eating tons of fruit and so far I've had 2 bowls of the soup, and I'll probably have one more before bed. I am just wondering, I have been having diarrhea, and it's like water comming out. I am doing this about every 5 to 10 minutes. Is that normal? What's going on?

This is a super diet. I've been on it for 4 days and have lost 5 lbs. I am 54 and have never been able to stick to a diet for very long. This time it's different. I dont miss my coffee in the morning or any of the other foods that you're not supposed to have, such as french bread with butter or cheese which I love. I feel really good energy wise. I hope to continue this diet for as long as I can or else switch over to another low carbohydrate diet. My daughter is on this diet also with me and we had an argument over the Lipton chicken noodle soup mix. She says we should not use the kind with the noodles in it but I couldnt find any other Lipton chicken noodle mix without the noodles in the grocery store. Does anyone know about this. Day 3 and I have lost 6 lbs so far! Really looking forward to bananas and milk, and the baked potato never tasted so good! The diet does work but it is not something that I could do for very long. Plan on sticking it out for a week and then going back to my 1200 calorie, 20 gram fat a day diet that I lost 25 lbs on at first of year. Good luck to everyone!

Today is my day 7 on this diet and I have lost 10 lbs. I did cheat once and had a crab cake last night. But I do believe its the water, the soup and some form of exercising. I did the first 2 still working on the 3rd.

I need help? I just found out about this diet...and it looks good but with the recipe for the soup does that only make one day's worth and then you have to eat it all and make more the next day or do you just eat as much as you want and if you don't eat it all you can save if for the next day? I started this diet today along with my daughter. I have heard from my SIL that it works and hence plan to stick. We also do Jillian Michaels's online workout for 45 minutes and sweat out...but have lost only 2 punds in past 4 weeks....so hoping that this soup diet shall help stay full and burn all during our workouts! 18-Aug-08. Good luck! Basic math - Calorie in - Calorie out.....I believe to lose a pound you need to burn 3500 calories. So in 7 days , you need to burn at least 500 calories...I guess I am on my way now! I am a strict vegetarian too - I am using veg broth in place of beef (still very low cal) and also I figure I will have protein patties (gardenburger or boca or other) or Tempeh in the weight of oz. for the prescribed portions of beef. I think that is a safe substitute as long as carbs are watched...not have a burger with a lot of rice in it.

I just started the diet today. i made a large stock pot of the soup with the veggies. I am at 175 and am trying to lose weight for my son's wedding in Sept. 20th.I plan on doing it at least two or three more times till then. I wonder if age has anything to do with the loss. I did the diet and lost 10 pounds in 5 days. That was my goal. The key was eating as much soup and drinking lots of water. I also had unsweetened juice when i craved something sweet. I loved it and I only walked moderately during the diet. I feel lighter and better. I now have gone to eating veggies and fruit only 3 days a week.
