The 5 Fitness Events You Should Attend this Summer

The Details: Fitness on the Rocks takes place at the world-renowned Red Rocks Amphitheater, located just outside of Denver, Colorado. The event is free and is organized by the city of Denver’s Parks and Recreation department. The goal of the event is to stay ahead of the hottest trends in fitness by providing the latest group fitness classes and workouts. Over 9,000 people attend the event throughout the day and can choose to participate in workouts such as Body Combat, Zumba, Yoga and Total Body Workout- all led by qualified trainers. There’s also an expo for attendees to walk through that features a large number of vendors specializing in fitness and nutrition. The Details: The IDEA World Fitness Convention is a weekend of networking and education for those in the fitness industry. Fitness celebrities such as Jillian Michaels and Tony Horton and featured in the showcase room and there’s over 360 different educations sessions led by the most successful leaders in the fitness industry. A nutrition expo (with over 300 vendors) is open Thursday-Saturday.
