 What is it?

AdvoCare Catalyst is a diet pill made to improve muscle tone and repair muscle. It contains amino acids identical to the ones already found in protein rich foods.

Other claimed benefits are improved repair and recovery after exercise, preserved strength and energy while on a diet, and retained muscle mass when losing weight. A healthy diet and exercise plan is required in order for this to work. In reviewing many weight loss diet pills our review experts concluded that the best overall is Sletrokor. It contains only natural plant extracts which can boost metabolism and help burn fat. For more information about of Sletrokor visit the link here.

AdvoCare Catalyst Ingredients and Side Effects
L-Glutamine L-Leucine L-Isoleucine L-Valine L-Arginine
Betaine Taurine Gelatin Stearic Acid Magnesium Stearate
Silicon Dioxide

L-Glutamine: The most commonly found amino acid in the body. It helps to improve immune function and relieve stress.

Found in foods such as eggs, meat, and whey protein. It’s only been shown to help with muscle building for unhealthy people who are deficient or have muscular issues.

L-Leucine: A branch chain amino acid that the body uses to help build muscle. It’s not very effective for people who get enough protein via foods.

In dosing it’s often advised to receive 2,000 to 5,000 mg while fasted or with a low protein meal.

AdvoCare Catalyst only provides 1,350 mg in a full daily serving, which is 650 mg less than the recommended minimum for noticeable changes.

Our review experts have crafted a best of list featuring the top ranked diet pills.

L-Isoleucine: One of the branch chain amino acids. This is found in many foods and is often only needed in protein deficient people.

Dosage strength is advised between 48 to 72 mg per kilogram. At 775 mg, AdvoCare Catalyst provides much less than what is needed by those with an average weight.

L-Valine: A less studied branch chain amino acid that does not seem to serve much of a purpose. Examine.com also adds:

“currently insufficient evidence to suggest an optimal dose of valine… and for what purposes valine… might actually be useful for”

This makes it impossible to know how much to take and whether or not it has an effect.

L-Arginine: This supplemental amino acid is used by athletes to improve performance. A study by Examine.com revealed:

“this effect appears to be unreliable in otherwise healthy adults”

Dosing often is suggested at a minimum of 3 grams a day. There’s only 300 mg added to AdvoCare Catalyst, much less than what is required for there to be an effect.

Betaine: This amino acid is found in choline and it’s used to improve cardiovascular health and athletic performance.  However, Examine.com has determined:

“benefit… to physical exercise, even if assumed to be present, may have little to no practical relevance”

The minimum amount need for it to have an effect is 500 mg; AdvoCare Catalyst has a total of 150 mg at the maximum advised dosage. This means it’s unlikely to have any effect at all.

AdvoCare Catalyst Quality of Ingredients

There are only natural active ingredients that can already be found in foods, and they often don’t require extra supplementation unless you’re fasting or on a low protein diet.

Another issue with the quality is that the dosage strength is low. Many of the ingredients are added at much lower strengths than what’s needed for an effect, making it unlikely to produce any noticeable changes.

Due to these issues it’s unlikely that the majority of ingredients would produce an effect even for people who aren’t receiving enough protein. To learn about which weight loss pills were rated as the best overall, follow this link.

The Price and Quality of AdvoCare Catalyst

A full 30 day serving sells for $31.50 when purchased direct from the manufacturer. This averages to a daily price of $1.05 if taken at the maximum 3 pills a day.

While this may seem low, the dosage strength for the ingredients is also weak. This makes it unlikely to have a benefit.

Many of these additives can easily be substituted with protein, and they often don’t require anymore supplementation in addition to a diet rich in protein. Therefore there doesn’t seem to be a known benefit to AdvoCare Catalyst.

You also still have to begin a diet and exercise in order for this to work. There doesn’t seem to be any information on their official website about a money back return policy. One customer found online said:

“bought over $450 of product from Advocare… was just told that there is no return… they will never give you your money back”

It’s clear from this negative review that there are potential issues with trying to secure a refund. The overall quality of AdvoCare Catalyst is poor as effort is needed via diet and exercise and the dosage strength is incredibly low.

Business of AdvoCare Catalyst

The owners are known as AdvoCare International, L.P, a multilevel marketing company. Their contact information is:

Phone Number: (800) 542-4800

Address: 2801 Summit Ave

Plano, Texas 75074

The company has had issues with tainted supplements. In one case an athlete sponsored by them tested positive for a banned substance to which they denied even after independent studies showed it was contaminated.

They currently have 24 complaints on their Better Business Bureau listing. 12 of the 24 issues had to do with either the service or products offered. Here are some quotes from those who dealt with the company:

“I asked for a refund. He yelled then hung up”

“Poor communication, problem solving and resolution skills. I was screamed at and hung up on 3 times”

“I’d like a complete refund I was totally scammed”

“Used my credit card fraudulently to register with without my permission”

Serious allegations were claimed against the company for failing to meet satisfaction and being difficult to deal with. For a list of the highest rated weight loss diet pills, click on the link here.

The main complaint often found in other similar companies is that you have to do business with people who look to make a profit. These salesmen are often independent and though they sell AdvoCare, they often have their own agendas.

People were disappointed with the lack of quality customer service and professionalism. There was also a major issue with being unable to reach someone at the company. Some customers repeatedly tried to email and call.

Customer Opinions of AdvoCare Catalyst

Here are select reviews from online users:

“I’ve taken it for 2 straight months and noticed negative results. I’ve actually gained weight even with strenuous exercise”

“It upset my stomach and have me indigestion so I stopped taking it”

“I received nothing from this product. No change at all from catalyst”

“No real weight loss at all. It was a waste of money”

When looking at reviews for multilevel marketing pills it’s important to look at reviews as potentially biased. Sometimes people selling these products will leave positive reviews to make a product appear potent.

In looking at reviews for AdvoCare Catalyst it was clear that many didn’t find it effective. Side effects were also listed such as stomach cramps, nausea, indigestion, and other similar digestive issues.

There was also a lack of positive effects from many. Even people who made sure to diet and exercise failed to see any benefits. A common complaint was that people felt as though there was no noticeable change at all. Discover which weight loss diet pills were rated as the most effective by looking at best of list.

Conclusion – Does AdvoCare Catalyst Work?

AdvoCare Catalyst is made to increase energy, muscle production, and make weight loss easier. While there is only natural ingredients added these amino acids are already found naturally in food. There were many negative reviews both about the company’s practices and the lack of noticeable effects.

Another major issue is the lack of proper dosing. These ingredients are added in lower amounts which are unlikely to produce any effects. This is likely why so many users have said that they failed to notice any changes whatsoever, even with repeat daily usage. A major reason for this is for unknown reasons each ingredient is severely under dosed for there to be any kind of effect.

By reviewing many kinds of weight loss diet pills, our review experts have found that the best one for results is Sletrokor. Customers have given it rave reviews and left testimonials to showcase its weight loss effects. There are no added stimulants, fillers, colors, preservatives, binders, or any artificial unwanted additives. The benefits include increased metabolism, reduced hunger, and improved overall health.

Sletrokor is also made in a certified GMP, FDA approved facility to ensure routine inspection and proper safety for each ingredient.  For more information about Sletrokor click on the link provided.

One Response to AdvoCare Catalyst Review

Meg says:

I can tell a hug difference when I take Catalyst vs when I don’t. I started CrossFit a month ago. Was feeling really sore, muscles tired (I couldn’t raise my arms long enough to put my hair in a ponytail). Started taking Catalyst, within a couple days I noticed that I was still getting a little sore, but my muscles weren’t so fatigued the next day. I misplaced the bottle for about a week. The soreness increased and the extreme fatigue returned.Found bottle, the next day fatigue is gone again.
