Season 9 of the Biggest Loser featured the heaviest cast in the show’s history. But, that didn’t keep them from making some amazing transformations, and revealing them on the live televised finale.
Ashley Johnston and Michael Ventrella faced off in the Biggest Loser Season 9 finale. Michael won the finale with a weight loss of 264 pounds. Ashley weighed in at 191 pounds, a weight loss of 183 pounds and earned second place for season 9.

I am sooooo inspired by this seasons show. All my life I have battled with my weight and in 1989 I topped the scale at 250+. After many ups and downs (the scale and in life) I am a slightly chunky 156lb. women.(I am 5'6" an have a meduim bone structure) My secret to years of success (even after the birth of twins in 1997) is simple. I aim to lose a BARE MINIMUM of 1/4 lb. a week and never gain it back. Quicker at first is better but to KEEP IT OFF NEVER ALLOW THE SCALE TO GO UP!!!!! And remember 1/4 lb. a week equals over 25 lbs. loss a year. And it is easy to do. I am so encouraged by the biggest loser I think I may be (finally) be able to lose this last 10-15lbs. Thank you biggest loser for the inspiration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go Michael!! I'm so inspired by all the contestants and what they have done for themselves. Daris definitely has me feeling like if he can cross the finish line of the marathon so can I in the fall. What a great season!!
