About Me:

I'm a working mother, married and with three kids.

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Losing 30 pounds
  • eat healthy, fresh and NO processed foods.
  • run/walk a marathon

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since last spring (2009). I quit smoking in December 2008 so I gained some weight which was totally okay with me. I rather weigh more and NOT smoke! But then I was laid off in February and that added another 10 pounds from being so inactive during the day. I WILL lose 30 pounds in the next couple of months (by October 2009).

My favorite healthy food:

Love to eat anything- not a picky eater.

My guiltiest pleasure:

Choco chip cookies
Baskin Robbins

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I have turned over a new leaf. I have not smoked for the past 8 months and I'm not big on drinking alcohol. I want to live a healthy long life to be around to see my grandkids one day.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • carry healthy snacks in my purse.
  • say something positive about myself daily
  • dont drink soda

My favorite activity at the gym is:

yoga
pilates
streaching
steam sauna

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • my children
  • going back to get my degree
  • my home
