Saturday Drill: Soccer Skills

Obliques are a trouble area for most people, including myself. But thanks to this simple yet effective exercise, consider your muffin top a thing of the past.

To perform this drill simply hold a soccer ball or a 5 pound dumbbell over your head and move it side to side overhead, bending slightly at the waist as you go. Try and engage your core with each movement. A reach to one side is one rep; complete a total of 30.
