I started this program 2 weeks ago. The first week I lost 4 pounds! During the weekend I did gain back the weight and when I asked why they looked over my food diary and saw that my water wasn't consistent, I didn't know. After I got that in order and did what they told me I started loosing 2 pounds every 2 days! I have now lost 7 pounds in only 1 week. This program is amazing. Yes, it is a bit pricey but what people failed to mention is that once you get your key card you can come to the gym ANY time you want.. 24/7. AND you can go to the Fairfield hotel to go swimming and to the hot tub for free. You'd get life success people that work sort of like Councillors and if you have the full program you also get trainers to help you.. my classes are also free, someone mentioned having to pay for them but for me I didn't. There is no down side with Thin and Healthy for me. All I see if success if you do as they say. = ]

I signed up for this weight loss plan at my local gym. I signed the one year contract @$49 a month....what I got for my $588.00? I talked to my weight loss coach 1-2 times a week for a few minutes, the coach would weigh me and take measurements (those are done monthly) and they would spend a few minutes going over my food journal/log and tell me want I did right and wrong. I did like checking in with my coach and getting measured, but that was a lot of money for what I got in return. I was told that exercise is incorporated in the plan, however I didn't see much of any exercise plans. I just did my regular exercise that I was already doing at the gym. I also got a menu to tell you what to eat on each phase...if you don't follow the phase exactly, then you start over...which I did several times... In the end, I did not lose any weight and I went back to eating normal again. I would not recommend this weight loss plan...it is way too overpriced for what you get in return. Save your money and do an online plan like Weight Watchers or use one of the free sites. (which is about the same information that you will get at Thin and Healthy and you can weigh and measure yourself. ) Also, keep in mind that this is a one or two year contract and I can tell you from experience that they will not let you out of the contract. My center actually charged me for 13 months and I couldn't do anything about it, but post this review. I hope this will help someone save their money. I had checked the reviews before I signed my contract but I didn't find many and they seem to be from the company. Wished I had known then what I know now.

I have been on this program for about a year now and have lost 25 pounds. I have been "stuck" for a couple of months now, but I honestly can't complain. I only need to lose 5-10 more pounds to reach my ultimate goal weight, and slower loss is supposed to be healthier and more long-term anyway. I was already a member of the gym so I am paying $29 extra a month (for two years). That is less than Weight Watchers and I personally needed the "commitment factor." I feel as though this is the most balanced, least extreme "diet" (as far as cutting out food groups) I have ever been on...and I have tried them all! The supplements do not "make or break" you with this and you could pretty much get by without them, except on Fast Phase. Even on that phase, they are "supplements"...it's not a liquid/powder diet. They do promote exercise, which I love...I have lost weight on diet alone but didn't keep it off (Shocker!). My only problem with this has been the turnover with the staff, but that is definitely a problem with the gym and not this program. It honestly just depends on what works best for you. (If you aren't committed to losing weight then no program is going to work for you, period.) I definitely feel like this is a lifestyle and not a diet. Again...with the more balanced aspect of it, I feel this is something I can continue forever.

I have been on this program for about a year now...and have lost 25 pounds. Of course, I would like to see more weight loss (only 5 to 10 more pounds), but I really cannot complain...slower loss is supposed to be better and more long term anyway (and lately it's not like I have been bending over backwards to follow it to a T.) It is honestly a very balanced diet and they really do promote exercise (SHOCKER...that you would actually have to eat right AND exercise to lose weight!). I was already a member of the gym, so it only cost me $29 a month extra (for a two year contract)...but that is less than Weight Watchers and I personally needed the "commitment" factor. The only thing I have been unhappy with is the turnover with the staff...but I think that may be a problem with the gym and not necessarily this program. I feel that this is the least extreme program I have ever done (as far as cutting out food groups, etc.) and I have tried them all! I think it just depends on what you can live with...but to me, this program really promotes a healthy lifestyle...not a diet.

I love this program. I knew I'd have to shell out money for help. That was just my reality for weightloss. The diet is simple & easy to follow because it's a healthy diet not "eat what you want" diet. Eating what I wanted got me where I am. I like the supplements and there are sales all the time. I just hit up sales as much as possible. I don't take what the coaches say for gospel because they aren't my doctor and I know my body. Prices may vary by gym as well and some have discounts available to them depending on where they work. If your physician can "prescribe" you a program, you can use funds from health savings account without penalty. Besides... $60 a month for two years is a lot less than medical expenses down the road. No need to try. It works!

I did this through my gym and at first it was grat, i lost 13 pounds in 3 weeks but then they changed the phase and i quit loosing and every time I went to a session, I would see a differant coach and they all told me differant things. i confronted them about it and was told that we are still learning about this program our selves so just bear with us, finally after a month and a half of still not loosing, i asked to be put back on the stage that I did loose weight on and they said no, so i quit the gym and the head person of the program called me and asked why i quit, aftre telling her of the problems I had delt with, she asked me to give it another chance and she would make sure that stuff would be taken care of, so the next day I went back to the gym to get my menu, but they told me that all the coaches were out of town for training, i never went back.

This is awesome! And if you've been on the diet rollercoaster most of your life as many of us have, then you know that the extra coaching and accountability are what it takes to stick to it and finally keep the weight off for good.

This program is amazing! It truly teaches you lifestyle habits; not just diet tips. Suppliments are NOT the base foundation of this diet, they only help for one phase! I dont know what the lettuce and broth comment is about... maybe the lifestyle choice was too hard? The program just takes you back to the basics of healthy carbs, meats, and fruits and veggies. SIMPLICITY and ACCOUNTABILITY are what make this diet great! I enjoy the contract as it forces me to take the extra step in commitment and leaves no room for fear of change.

This Program is AWSOME i have never done anything like it or gotten as great results doing anything else!!!!

over all this program rocks!

My common sense told me better but I bought into the excitement of how much weight I'd lose and how quickly (as they sit and calculate how long it will take to get to your goal). The supplements are a big part for the intro period then not as much, you can live on lettuce and broth after the intro phase if you'd like. My common sense KNEW that if they have to require you to commit to 2 years without the opportunity to try it then it will not work for the majority of people. If they believed in the program there would be a trial membership before commiting to 2 years.

I love love this program!! I am doing it online and not in person and it works just as well. I only pay 17.00 a month! In 3 weeks I have lost over 7 lbs! The supplements were only important in the fast phase of the program which was 6 days and when you sign up online they send you some free supplements! I love the theory behind the program and it has worked great for me!

The information I ready above was not true. Supplements are NOT a requirment for the program I am on with the exception of one phase that lasts a few days and this was only to speed up my metabolism AND IT WORKED - Also, there I signed up the gym membership and tanning were included. I love my coaches and there are very supportive and not push. I have already lost 37 pounds and learned a lot about my eating habits. I would recomment this to anyone who wants a safe and easy way to lose weight steadily and learn some life changes as well.

Scam. Cost is $60 per month for 2 years with up front intiation cost as well. Diet is meger and is fine if you have nothing else to do but shop and plan meals all day but if you work and have a life outside the gym its not good. Includes gym membership but is most costly gym I've seen and is not as nice, also charges additional for tanning and each aerobics class although they're cancelled more often than they're held anyways. Ongoing support to call you and encourage you if you dont continue is non-existent, never heard from them again but then again I already committed to 24 months so what do they care. Weight watchers is better.

This program is a scam...they lock you in a 2 year contract, and if you belong to the gym,you could do the same program just by looking at a calorie book.

it is an easy way to lose , and keep weight off . supplements are NOT a big part your success despite what this forum says . you are only to use the supplements for a few days . they are used to speed up your metabolism .

posted Jun 30th, 2009 11:20 pm

They wanted to lock me into a 2 year contract at the center also the is an enrollment fee..products very pricey.
