DIET and NUTRITIONDIET and NUTRITION

The Diet Cure takes you through a questionnaire so that you can identify which of the eight imbalances you might be dealing with. The eight outlined imbalances include depleted brain chemistry, malnutrition due to low-calorie dieting, unstable blood sugar, unrecognized thyroid function, food addictions and allergic reactions, hormonal havoc, yeast overgrowth and fatty acid deficiency. Once you have identified your imbalances, you can go onto part two of the book which shows you how to correct them. The Diet Cure contains a lot of information so that you can understand exactly what is going on inside your body and make the necessary changes to end the dieting cycle once and for all. Part three of the book includes your nutritional survival guide and supplement information along with meal ideas and plans. The book also contains tips on what to eat, emphasizes eating more vegetables, how to load your pantry and prepares you for eating on the go. Below is a sample menu for one day on The Diet Cure.

  • Breakfast: 1 orange, sliced with ½ cup blueberries; egg and vegetable frittata
  • Lunch: Complete meal salad
  • Dinner: 4 to 5 ounces of baked chicken thighs with lemon and rosemary; 1 cup brown basmati rice with 1 tablespoon butter; 1 cup steamed asparagus with butter and lemon; 1 cup cherry tomato halves and cucumber slices with pitted Kalamata olives

There are some ideas included in the book for snacks and easy tips on how to construct a salad, sandwich and make smart soup choices. For the meal plans any recipes that you need are included.

EXERCISEEXERCISE

Exercise is called out as an important and essential support component of The Diet Cure program. The recommendation for exercise is that you choose something pleasant and that you enjoy doing. You don’t have to join a gym or anything like that. You can simply enjoy outdoor activities like walking biking hiking or skiing. There are also options like doing exercise videos at home or simply dancing in the living room to get more movement. When creating your exercise plan, remember to include elements of Ostrength training, stretching and maintaining heart function. You should exercise at least four times per week for the most benefits. You have the flexibility of creating your own exercise program with The Diet Cure so that you can find something you will stick with.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

The Diet Cure can go a long way toward helping you figure out exactly what may be holding you back from losing weight the way you want. I've used this "Diet" to good effect. For me the most important thing it taught me was that my amino acid balances were way off. By bringing those back into alignment I've lost weight, but more importantly, lost cravings, strengthened my nails and got rid of all migraines.
