Do You Know the Best Diet Pills of 2024?

BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND

If you're looking to curb your appetite, now you can take a shot. Slim Shots triggers the body's natural appetite control mechanism, also known as the ileal brake, satisfying users for long periods of time and in turn, allowing them to eat less, without sacrificing or depriving themselves of tasty foods. You can drink Slim Shots by itself or mix it with your favorite food or drink.

For the best results, you take two shots a day (20 calories each) the first week, then after that, just once during breakfast. Slim Shots is supposed to start working a couple hours after you take it. It has no stimulants, so there are no jittery side effects.

The company rightly advises that you need to do Slim Shots in conjunction with a balanced diet and exercise.

PROPRO
  • The Slim Shots website offers clinical studies
  • It doesn't act like a cure all, stating that you need to live a healthy lifestyle as well
  • Convenient cups travel with you
  • No side effects
CONCON
  • Slim Shot is not FDA approved
  • There isn't a clear and concise idea of how it actually works, doesn't give specifics about how the ingredients affect change
  • Each shot contains 20 calories
  • Ingredient Phenylalanine (50% of aspartame), can have dangerous effects for diabetics and those with ADD/ADHD
  • Should not be taken by those patients with PKU
INGREDIENTSINGREDIENTS

Slim Shots contains natural oat, palm oil, artificial vanilla flavor, sweetener, aspartame (Phenylalanine) and beta carotene color.

Phenylalanine makes of 50% of aspartame, an artificial sweetner commonly used in diet products. ADD/ADHD patients and diabetics may experience negative side effects as a result of consuming this ingredient. Those with PKU, or at risk for PKU, should avoid Phenylalanine as it can cause brain damage or even death.

EXERCISEEXERCISE

Unlike many other supplement websites, the Slim Shots site gives relatively in-depth nutritional advice. The exercise advice is very rudimentary: Commit to work out three times a week for 30 to 45 minutes. It also advises that you join a fitness class or devise a home workout routine that incorporates both aerobic and strength training.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

The editorial tone on the Slim Shots website doesn't lead you to believe that the company is in the snake oil business. There are clinical studies posted, and good advice about how you should eat and exercise. Even though the language is not over-hyped, there still is some question as to how Slim Shots actually works.

Ultimately, it's up to the consumer to decide if it's worth, um, a shot.

I am trying these right now as we speak and they are not so bad. They are actually working and i don't feel hungry at all. They taste a little yucky though.

After reading all the reviews on this product, I am considering trying them. Most people seem to be happy. Before I try, can anyone who has taken them answer me a question??? I was wondering if they make you feel bloated? Like you have a lot of air in your stomach or that puffy stomach feeling?

Thanks!!

I give this product a Big Thumbs Up and five stars! *****

I am a 51 yr old female who has gone through menopause already and with it, an extra added 25 pounds over the past five years. I have tried everything on the market, to no avail, with the exception of Slim Shots! THEY ARE WORKING FOR ME! I have been using Slim Shots for about two weeks now, and though a bit slow to have an effect for me, I stuck with the product. Lo and behold, they have kicked in this past week, big time! I noticed in the past four days or so, that my appetite is much reduced. I have not experienced ANY ill side effects! I am just not as hungry as before. Slim Shots does not change the taste of food, rather, it really helps one feel satiated, though not full. I would recommend this product most highly! I am going to keep taking it, i.e., give it a chance to work!

i bought these a while ago. i will def recommend AGAINST putting this in your food. they taste aweful AND chalky--not a good combo! i think the taste issue really has to do with how sensitive your tastebuds are. personally i'm very sensitive to all fake sugars & can almost always taste them in my food. to get around the taste i try to take it just before i eat a small meal. drinking a slimfast after my shot works pretty well for me, so does eating a yogurt (do NOT mix it in). i really noticed a decrease in my appetite after the first 2-3 days of taking the shot. i'm an evening snacker so i try to take them after 3pm. of course the shot is only as helpful as your diet. YOU HAVE TO MAKE BETTER FOOD CHOIES TO SEE RESULTS! for me adding exercise increased my weight loss, but that's true for just about any diet plan.

i just started this morning and the taste while not great is not puke worthy (i mean really, if people who have dieted before can't tolerate this I don't know what they have been trying). it is a tiny shot, it goes down fast and for me was much easier than some of those huge pills that taste like grass and mud or those sick protein bars out there. i must say that i didn't have any desire to snack this afternoon, i took the shot at about 8:00am with breakfast. I only took 1 today and could probably have used another but I did not feel hungry all day! So far so good :).

I was reading the comments & I must say the taste is fine. It has a nutty taste to me. I just shake it pull back tab and drink it up-no after taste at all. After my morning shot I eat a smart breakfast-and 10am have a snak-another shot with senseable lunch & work out 3-4 days at a gym for 45min to 1hr. I just started & will let you know in a couple weeks. But honestly it helps curve my appetite...Im pulling for all who is trying this..You must do some type of exercise..

I don't trust anything that suppresses my appetite, if I am hungry than I should be eating. It's more about portion control than forcing myself not to eat. I'm not taking the slimshots anymore

WARNING TO ALL!! Just started taking Slim Shots this morning and out of curiousity, called my pharmacist to see if it would have any adverse reactions with my medications-- the pharmacist said I could NOT take any more Slim shots because i am on high blood pressure medicine, but more importantly, high cholesteral medication. My pharmacist said it could cause very serious problems with my liver (upsets the enzymes)!! I am sending my four boxes back today. Be careful!!

Well, my mom gave me some of these slim shots beacuse I have been hungry all the time even when I've eaten a large meal. Interestingly, the first time I tried it I put it in my cereal it was ok, did;nt notice any diif. in hunger. The next day I put it in my coffe and was shocked when I almost upchucked because it tasted verry verry terrible. As other people said, its like a wanna be vanilla plastic play dough that overpowers what ever you put it into. I'm dissapointed because I really thought it would have a "pleasant vanilla flavor" yeah right. Well, I hope other people experience the flavor in a diff. way and can actually use it w/o getting ill..
