Even the best laid plans go awry. It's tough enough to muster up the will-power to start eating right. Maybe you're giving it the old college try, but your nutritional skills are more like a grade schooler. There's no need to be ashamed. If you're not a nutritionist or well-versed on healthy eating, it can often be confusing. How many calories do you need for your age and activity level? How much protein, vitamins, or fiber do you need? And how much of it do you get with the food you eat every day? It can make your head spin.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a tool to help you track all of this information? Bitelog is an online weight loss diary in which you record the food you eat and it gives you a nutrient report, on a daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly basis. You will be amazed at how much success you can see when you track your food. You can see what's missing, tweak it, and move on. Food diaries, weight loss journals, or however you choose to call it- this is a proven and effective way to manage successful weight loss.

Here are the basic features to Bitelog: - Calorie diary - Vitamin diary - Daily/weekly/monthly values - Which foods give the most calories - Which food gives you the most calories - You can store your own foods - Direct calorie and vitamin entry

Bitelog provides a generous food database where you'll find the nutritional information needed for your diary. The site provides thorough information about the nutrition found in your food. No other guidance is given related to your diet.

EXERCISEEXERCISE

You can enter physical activities in a journal, but it's unclear from the onset how it is kept track of exactly, due to the site's unclear instructions and design.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

The core of what Bitelog is providing its users is quite valuable- free access to journal and track what you're eating and the activities you're participating in. The site lacks organization creating a difficult navigation experience for the user. It's generous to provide the service for free.

tracks exercise, vitamins, minerals, Amino acids, weight, calories, etc. This is the best, and I have tried a few. Folks compalin it does not give you diet or exercise recomendations. If you're loosing weight and not starving, do you really need a hollywood recomendation?

Have used it for a year. After the first few days it is easy. Tracks vitamins, minerals, calories, your weight, how many calories you should eat to get to a weight you want. Tracks Cholesterol, carbs, protein, histamine, amino acids. This is the best I have found. And its free!

While all diet sites, books, TV shows etc. etc. are full of advice, we are still overweight.
Bitelog is good, because now I can advise myself.

Everyone has a different metabolism and even in the same house, we dont eat exactly the same food and same amount.
Bitelog helps me understand what exactly I am eating and how my metabolism works. I wrote exactly what I ate for 2 weeks and looked at the reports and statistics. I saw that I am not getting enough protein, fiber and some vitamins. I also can check for a specific vitamin and which food has the most of it.

Bitelog is a free service which is a pro in my mind but overall I have to say that if I'm not getting advice on what I should be eating, it won't matter if I'm writing it down cause I will not know whats right and wrong
