BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

Tony Horton's 10-Minute Trainer is a speedy but effective way to sneak in 10 minutes of quality exercise.

Designed for those folks who want to get in shape but whose lives are too busy to spend one hour at the gym, the 10-Minute Trainer combines Horton's signature moves with calorie-torching cardio to give you a real workout in less time than it takes for you to don your workout clothes and drive to the gym.

The 10-Minute Trainer comes with four 10-minute workout DVDs in addition to a host of healthy supportive tools like a resistance band kit, a workout calender, a 10-Minute Meal tip sheet and a diet and exercise plan.

The product also features a money-back guarantee if after 30 days you are not pleased with your results.

DIET and NUTRITIONDIET and NUTRITION

The 10-Minute Trainer comes with Horton's own tips and recipes for putting together nutritious, tasty, low-calorie meals and snacks in less than ten minutes.

Meals and snacks are generally low glycemic and pair a lean protein with a healthy carbohydrate in each serving. Examples include grilled chicken breast over fresh greens, yogurt and fresh fruit, and a whole-grain wrap with an all-natural nut butter.

EXERCISEEXERCISE

The secret behind the 10-Minute Training system is Horton's signature Super Stacking Technique, which uses resistance bands. While the workouts may be quick, they are energetic and intense.

Here's how it works: Instead of starting with cardio, then working your different body parts one at a time like most long workouts, the exercises are stacked, so you get your fat-burning cardio, total-body toning and sculpting, and abs workouts at the same time and in just 10 minutes, from start to finish.

The 10-Minute Trainer comes with four ten-minute workout DVDs: The Total Body, Cardio, Lower Body and Yoga Flex. Bonus features include an extra Abs workout, 10-minute workout cards and a ten-day eating diet plan.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

The 10-Minute Trainer created by Tony Horton is designed for those who want to get in shape but have no time to clock an hour at the gym every day.

Featuring Horton's signature Super Stacking Technique™ method of training, the entire 10-Minute Trainer package gives you all the tools you need to dedicate ten minutes of your day to working out. And who doesn't have ten minutes?

While the idea that a hot body is just ten minutes a day away is extremely appealing, if you are realistically looking to be healthy or lose weight, you will need to spend more than ten minutes working out.

I like this workout. It's an intense 10 minutes, and for maximum weight loss you add other routines. I find the program works but I've committed to at least 20 minutes.

I love 10 minute trainer. I usually do a different one each day in addition to other workouts that I do. If I'm doing a workout that focuses on abs, I'll add in the 10 minute total body workout. Or if I'm doing buns and legs, I'll add in the 10 minute abs. After a bike ride, the yoga. You can do one a day if you don't have enough time, or stack them together. You can also add them to other workouts.
