Biggest Loser’s Two-Part Makeover Week Features Michelle Obama

First lady Michelle Obama will appear on a two-part Biggest Loser “makeover episode,” airing Tuesday, April 3 and 10 at 8-9 PM ET.

As the contestants prepare for the highly anticipated makeover show, they will meet with fashion expert Jeannie Mai and visit the salon of celebrity stylist Ken Paves. Just before the fun begins the contestants receive a surprise video message from the first lady inviting them all the the White House.

Once the newly made-over group arrives at the White House, they will first be surprised to reunite with family members. The makeovers, transformation reveals, and family reunions will all take place in the first episode and all before they meet the first lady.

“Mrs. Claus” Christine Pickler Uses Biggest Loser 13 to Keep up With a Large Family

Christine Pickler, 42, is quick to admit she’s an “emotional eater who uses food for comfort.” As a busy mother to four children and now three adult step-children, Christine knows she can always find an excuse not to exercise or eat the way she should. She recently married a man 20 years her senior and looks forward to creating a life with him. At 240 pounds, she’s excited to be on Biggest Loser 13 this year with her new husband Roy Pickler. They are the only husband and wife team this season.

Growing up in South Bend, Indiana with a large blended family, Christine is comfortable with an extended family and now has one of her own. With seven children between she and her Santa Claus look-a-like husband, she knows she needs to get healthy to juggle her new demanding life. (more…)
