Expert rating: By Robert (Senior Reviewer) December 4, 2017 Advertising Disclosure
DreamX is a sleep support spray that is designed to help the consumer maintain a healthy sleep cycle and achieve restful sleep faster. The product states that because the ingredients are being delivered as a spray, they are actually being absorbed faster by the body compared to other methods.
The product is sold in small spray bottles containing 1 ounce of liquid, which they claim equates to roughly 33 servings per bottle. They direct the user to shake the bottle before use and spray 6 sprays under their tongue, hold for 60 seconds, then swallow, and to do so about 15 minutes prior to going to bed.
There are so many sleep aids available on the market currently, that it is easy for consumers to get confused or frustrated when trying to find the right one for them; fortunately, we’ve made it simple revealing that Fenotrex has been declared the top sleep aid on the market. Review experts made this determination after viewing the strong consumer response to the product, and the effectiveness of the potent formula in action. DreamX Ingredients and Side Effects
The webpage for the product lays out the relatively simple formula with the necessary detail so that consumers can make an informed decision as to what they may be putting into their bodies. The provide a full list of ingredients, a look at the supplement facts label, some dosage information for the ingredients, and even short descriptions of what the ingredients are and their intended functions in the formula.
Here are all the active ingredients in DreamX:
GABA: A chemical that is made in the brain and can also be taken as a supplement. It is generally used to relieve anxiety, improve mood, and treat ADHD. Additionally, it can also help to burn fat, lower blood pressure, and develop lean muscles. It can block neurotransmitters within the brain that allows the nerves within the body to relax.
Melatonin: A hormone that occurs naturally within the body and can also be made in a laboratory. Its main function is to help regulate the body’s internal clock and establish sleep and wake cycles, particularly for those who have alternative or changing sleep schedules. It can also be used to help those who suffer from insomnia as a result of ADHD, rapid eye movement, intellectual disabilities, and high blood pressure.
5-HTP: Extracted from an African plant named Griffonia simplicifolia, it is used primarily for treating sleep disorders like insomnia, as well as anxiety, depression, obesity, ADHD, seizures, and migraines. The ingredient works by increasing the production of serotonin in the brain and nervous system, which can have a profound effect upon sleep, mood, and sexual behavior. Unfortunately, there are some potential side effects that are associated with taking the ingredient, including:
- Heartburn, stomach pain, nausea, and sexual problems
DreamX Quality of Ingredients
The formula for DreamX is fairly simple and straightforward in that it only includes three active ingredients, all of which can effectively address some aspect of sleeplessness. There are some drawbacks to the formula however, most notably the use of 5-HTP, which, while potentially effective, carries the potential for some negative side effects such as heartburn and sexual issues.
Furthermore, while melatonin is a key ingredient to most quality sleep aids, the specific amount that is used can have varying effects on the users sleep cycles. When used in doses that are too heavy, melatonin can have an overwhelming effect upon the senses and actually further exacerbate issues with the consumer’s biological clock. In this particular product, melatonin is used at dosage that is substantially higher than most other sleep aids.
Additionally, while GABA is effective for anxiety and stress relief, it seems to be used in a dosage that is substantially smaller than many other competing sleep aids.
The Price and Quality of DreamX
The product is only available for purchase through the manufacturer’s website currently, and not though any other online vendors or retail locations. Right now, it is being sold for $18.95 per bottle with free shipping included. Again, each bottle is supposed to provide approximately 33 servings, so it should last just about a month, and given the free shipping the price quoted seems quite reasonable.
That said we have concerns over the limited formula featured within the product, as well as some of the potential side effects that can occur as a result of its use. Furthermore, there are claims made by the manufacturer that the delivery of the product via spray will maximize the amount and speed of the nutrients that are absorbed by the body, but there is no clinical data that is presented to back this claim up.

Customer Opinions of DreamX
Unfortunately, because the product is only sold through the manufacturer’s website, we were not able to locate any objective consumer reviews for DreamX. Furthermore, there are no testimonials or endorsements of the product that are featured on the site, which, while rarely objective, do at least showcase that there are people willing to attest to the product’s effectiveness. The lack of consumer reviews or and discernable reaction to the product that we could find suggests that it perhaps has not connected with the public for reasons that are not clear.
Conclusion – Does DreamX Work?
Overall, DreamX attempts to deliver relief from chronic sleeplessness and insomnia through a new method of spraying the formula directly into your mouth. They claim that this method delivers the necessary nutrients faster into the bloodstream, and the consumer will in turn experience relief from their sleep issues faster than they would with a more traditional sleeping aid.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not back this claim up with any tangible clinical data, and the complete lack of consumer reviews or reactions of any kind fail to support any of the product’s claims of quick-acting effectiveness. The formula for the product is simple, but problematic in some ways given that it uses 5-HTP which can potentially cause negative side effects, and includes what appears to be an overabundance of melatonin which can lead to further issues with the consumer’s biological clock. The dosage of GABA that is used is lacking as well.
The product is priced reasonably and includes free shipping, so it may be worth a try for some consumers who have not found success with other, more traditional sleep aids, but based on the information that is available, we wouldn’t recommend getting your hopes up. We would recommend finding a sleep aid that has strong backing from both review experts and consumers, and features a more well-rounded formula with balanced dosages and no negative side effects. Additionally, look for a product that provides a money back guarantee of some sort, so that if the product is found to be ineffective it can be returned and will not just be a sunk cost.
As of this writing, the top sleep aid on the market according to review experts is Fenotrex, due in large part to the overwhelmingly positive response that it has received from consumer who have tried it, and a formula that is both potent and healthy. When used as directed, consumers can expect to see an increase in deep, restful sleep, improved moods, and more energy to accomplish tasks during the day.
Furthermore, all the active ingredients within the formula have been tested individually in clinical settings by third-parties who have been able to confirm its safety and effectiveness. Additionally, the product is produced in a GMP-certified facility.
