Downtime PM Ingredients and Side Effects
In researching the product, a full list of ingredients is provided, but, unfortunately, a view of the supplement facts label is not provided. As a result, no specific dosage information is known, though we do know that many of the ingredients are used in a proprietary blend. Furthermore, no explanation is provided for the role of many of the ingredients, so it becomes very difficult for users to be fully informed about the product and its potential effects prior to purchase.
Here is a list of all the ingredients that are included within Downtime PM:
|Magnesium||Senna||Beta Amylase||Cellulase||Maca Root Extract||Piper methysticum|
|Calcium||Fenugreek Seed Extract||Protease||Lactase||Bromelain||Black Cherry Extract|
|Psyllium husks powder||Blend-Alpha||Lipase||cissusquadrangularisp.e||Valerian Offinalis L||Melatonin|
Melatonin: A hormone that occurs naturally within the body and can also be made in a laboratory. Its main function is to help regulate the body’s internal clock and establish sleep and wake cycles, particularly for those who have alternative or changing sleep schedules. It can also be used to help those who suffer from insomnia as a result of ADHD, rapid eye movement, intellectual disabilities, and high blood pressure.
Magnesium: A mineral that is primarily important for developing and maintaining normal none structure within the body. Generally, magnesium is absorbed through diet, but often consumers do not get enough which can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, and osteoporosis. Additionally, it can be used to treat ADHD, chronic fatigue syndrome, lyme disease, kidney stones, PMS, migraine headaches, and more. It does not necessarily have a direct link to sleep health, but is needed for many normal body processes.
Fenugreek Seed Extract: The seeds of an herb that is native to the Mediterranean region and southern Europe. It can be used for digestive issues, upset stomach, inflammation, obesity, diabetes, and more. It works by slowing the absorption of sugars within the stomach that can stimulate insulin production. Unfortunately, it does come with some possible side effects, including:
- Diarrhea, bloating, and gas
Downtime PM Quality of Ingredients
Clearly, the list of ingredients associated with Downtime PM is quite lengthy, and unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide much information regarding the dosages that are used, or the specific purpose associated with many of the additives. As far as sleep is concerned, there is really only one ingredient that is used that will have a direct effect on the sleep quality of the user: melatonin. Melatonin is a quality sleep ingredient and could very well allow the user to develop higher quality sleep habits, but it does not address nearly all the aspects of sleep health that need to be addressed on its own.
The rest of the ingredients are aimed at different areas, including weight loss, energy levels, metabolism, and cortisol levels. There are some potential side effects within the ingredients that are used, and consumers should heed the warning about cycling the product, rather than using it every day. Additionally, many of the ingredients are included to speed up recovery or protect muscles from damage, with the assumption that the user is going to be working out consistently while taking this product.
The Price and Quality of Downtime PM
Tracking down a price for Downtime PM was not done easily, as it seems the product has been discontinued by the manufacturer for the most part. It is no longer listed on the manufacturer’s website, and isn’t available for purchase through the trustworthy supplement retailers many consumers are used to like GNC or Lucky Vitamin. That said, the last price we were able to locate for Downtime PM was $49.99 per bottle.
That price is very high when compared to most sleep aids that are available on the market, though it is backed up by the manufacturer’s 110% money-back guarantee, which should provide peace of mind for many users. The higher price is likely due to the wide-ranging claims of the product, involving not just sleep, but also weight loss or maintenance, muscle recovery and protection, and energy levels. Additionally, the ingredient list is so wide-ranging and lengthy that production of the product may have been quite expensive.
Business of Downtime PM
Downtime PM is manufactured by 1st Phorm, which bills itself as a producer of muscle building supplements.

Customer Opinions of Downtime PM
Unfortunately, there are not any objective consumer reactions to the product that we were able to find online currently. This is likely due to the fact that it seems the manufacturer may have discontinued their production of the product, as it is no longer listed on their website, and we were only able to find it for sale through unofficial third-party websites.
Conclusion – Does Downtime PM Work?
Overall, we are reluctant to recommend Downtime PM largely on the basis that it seems to have fallen out of production, so the consumer actually getting their hands on the product would represent a challenge, and there is limited information that is available. Based upon what we do know about the product, the benefit to the user’s sleep seems limited based on the ingredients that are used, as melatonin is the only active ingredient that will directly address sleep health, and we don’t know the dosage of melatonin that is used.
Additionally, the last price that we have available for the product is extremely high compared to other, more well-rounded sleep aids that are available. The product seems designed for those who are active in their workout regimen, as it provides a lot of support for recovery to the muscles, as well as ingredients that are targeted at maintaining a healthy weight or to promote weight loss. As a result, the formula seems to become less focused as a whole and its status as a sleep aid seems tenuous at best.
If you’re mostly interested in finding a quality sleep aid we would recommend skipping Downtime PM and finding a more well-rounded and readily available supplement.
