Running Tips and Tricks from the BlogHer 5K

running 5kThe weekend of July 24-26 2009 was the BlogHer conference. A wonderful, enjoyable, overwhelming weekend of fun and excitement that occurred when 1,400 women descended upon Chicago. A group of women decided that it might be fun to get together for fitness Friday morning, and so the First Annual Blogher 5K was born. I originally planned to run it, but I met up with a group of friends and we walked the race. While walking, I interviewed a couple of ladies and picked their brains for fitness tips, hints and tricks. Here’s what they had to say:

First up, Laurie recommends music, Deb suggests using Google Maps Pedometer and Karen promotes stretching.
