Extreme Weight Loss Show Searching for Contestants

Fitness Trainer Chris Powell

ABC wants to take weight loss reality TV to the extreme. The casting directors for ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss Show are looking for people who need to lose a lot of weight – 200 pounds or more.

There are a few differences from the show it will inevitably be compared to, The Biggest Loser. First, they will be dealing with people one-on-one, and exclusively with those who have 200 pounds or more to lose.

Second, the show comes to the contestants’ homes and follows their journey for a full year. The show’s trainer, Chris Powell, will be going to people’s homes to work on changing their unhealthy habits and transforming their bodies with one-on-one training. There are no competitions or challenges, other than the challenge of changing their habits.

Trainer Chris Powell gained worldwide attention for his work in the amazing transformation of David Smith, who went from 630 pounds to 250 pounds in only 26 months.

A team of casting directors will be traveling to the Washington DC and Houston, Texas next. These are some of the few select cities that they will be going to find new contestants. It’s an open casting call, so if you meet the basic criteria, you can apply for the show. You can also go to 3 Ball Production’s website to get instructions on submitting an application and video. Hello, my name is Deloris Mcclenton. I weigh about 250.00 lbs. I’m over weight by 115 lbs. I know you said we should be over weight by at least 200 lbs. I need help losing this 115 lbs. I have health problems that stems from my weight gain. I had a situation were I broke both my ankles and my right femur and have not been able to work out. Over the years I gained this weight and I need help getting it off. My health depends on it. Due to my past injuries I’m not sure what kind of exercise and diet I can do to get my health back. I have two daughters and I’m looking forward to the day I will be a grandmother. When ever that day comes I want to be physically healthy and able to help take care of them. I’m not a spring chicken, but an older woman with a strong desire to be healthy. Please help me live to see my grandchildren.
Sincerely,
Deloris Mcclenton
