Biggest Loser’s Ali Vincent on the Today Show

If you missed the Today show this morning, you missed seeing Biggest Loser’s chipper Ali Vincent. She says these days she’s always got a smile on her face. She’s kept off her 112 pound weight loss since she won season five in 2024, becoming the first female Biggest Loser. Ali was on the show to introduce the new 30-Day Jump Start by Biggest Loser. She said she enjoyed the book because it reminded her of some things she’d forgotten. Even for her, Ali said it’s easy to get complacent, and whether you’re just starting or need a reminder, this new 30-Day Jump Start is a great resource.

She was joined by Biggest Loser nutritionist Cheryl Forberg, who explained the book is for anyone who wants to lose weight or maintain. She said the book is full of the same nutrition advice, fitness tips and recipes that they share with the contestants at the ranch. Her two points of advice on Today were:

  1. Eat Your Calories, Don’t Drink Them. Stay away from high-calorie drinks. Water should be a staple, and skim milk is acceptable.
  2. Don’t Skip Meals, Especially Breakfast. They advise eating three balanced meals and two small snacks each day.

Ali also performed a brief fitness move with Al Roker. Using resistance band, she placed one foot on the band, held the handles and performed a rowing motion. Ali says to do 12-15 repetitions, alternating legs.

Finally, Ali and Cheryl introduced some tasty recipes from the new 30-Day Jump Start. Try the Southwestern Turkey Salad Wraps, Pesto Pizzettas, or Frosty Pumpkin Smoothie.

Amy says:

Ali is a great example that if you put your mind to it you can do it! I love how she continues to keep health a priority in her life as this hasn’t always been the case for all contestants. I can’t wait to see what the ladies on this season have in store for us and see a bit of Ali in Tara for sure!
