Meet the Biggest Loser 11 Contestants

Season 11 of the Biggest Loser has already generated a lot of buzz, thanks in part to crew members going on strike during the show’s filming. Happily, the disagreements were resolved, and we’re looking forward to the show’s premiere on January 4th at 8:00.

The biggest news of all, Jillian says this is her last season.

Season 11 is the fourth season of The Biggest Loser to feature couples, but like season 10, you can be sure there will be some new surprises. However, the tough-love trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper will still be pushing contestants to their limits, while the lovely Alison Sweeney will host.

The definition of “couples” on The Biggest Loser isn’t limited to those who are romantically involved, as contestants include a mother-daughter team and twin brothers. All of the 22 contestants will compete to lose weight and shape-up, facing down emotional baggage and ridding themselves of unhealthy habits.

Season 11 is changing it up in the very first episode, by giving the 11 teams the choice of working out with Bob and Jillian or two new (and disclosed) trainers at a new location. It may seem like going with the time-tested workouts offered by Bob and Jillian is a no-brainer, but the contestants who chose to go with the new trainer will get four weeks of immunity.

Thanks for the interview Brittany (still my fave ever BL contestant), audio is bad, but not so bad that its unwatchable. Interesting that there are 2 new trainers. Jillian tweaked about a replacement trainer and I assumed NBC were adding a 3rd trainer for S11 in prep to replace Jill come season S12, but if there are two new trainers (assuming male/female) then it'll be interesting to see how they both resonate with viewers. Also, I wonder if this means that Bob might be following Jillian out the door?

Sorry about the audio. We were inside at first and that was absolutely AWFUL. I tried to make it work outside. We were fighting against the rain, wind and other interviews going on. Did the best we could!

Would love to watch but the audio is horrendous. Too much background noise.
