Ashley Borden is a personal trainer who currently offers private training and group classes in Los Angeles, CA. In 2008, she co-authored Your Perfect Fit with Paige Adams-Geller. This book combined fashion, fitness, and food tips and received high reviews. In 2010, she released her most recent workout video, Core Balance DVD with Gaiam.
Ashley battled an eating disorder in her youth. When she was 18, she learned to balance her life with nutrition and exercise through Overeaters Anonymous.
“After having such a profound recovery experience, I felt inspired to share my insight on exercise and nutrition with others,” she said.
So, her work as a personal trainer and fitness expert began. Ashley spent three years teaching fitness and exercise classes at the Four Seasons Punta Mita, Mexico. Today, she leads private fitness and wellness retreats in Newport Beach, CA, at the five star Pelican Hill Resort. During these four-day long retreats, participants enjoy personal training sessions, spa treatments, and meals, all of which follow Ashley’s S.O.S. Food Plan.
Ashely’s workout plans focus on both cardio and strength training programs. Using these techniques, she has helped many celebrities – including Christina Aguilera, Natasha Bedingfield, Reese Witherspoon, and Ryan Gosling – and many non-celebrities, live happier, healthier lives.
