Hi Christina,
posted Feb 4th, 2011 3:44 pmI know what a difficult time you must be going through trying to lose weight and dealing with your emotions.I too have a rough time with food. There is a wonderful program that you can check out online. The adress is greysheet.org. Just check it out and keep an openmind. There are helpful people on there that can teach you why we eat the way we do and what STEPS we can take to start a healthy lifestyle.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the e-mail above.
Good luck to you Christina and God Bless

After watching the segment on Rachael Ray, I really felt that this family could benefit from some therapy sessions together, to learn how stronger dynamics and healthier communication could help Christina towards her weight loss goals. I posted this on the show's message board, but the show doesn't seem to want the family to receive this recommendation, as no matter how I phrase or contextualize it, it keeps getting bumped from the message boards! Maybe this is a forum through which the family can get the recommendation?

It's nice to see a teenage girl who seems to understand the importance of a healthy weight. Note, I didn't say "being skinny" I really appreciate her motives...
