If you were impressed with Hugh Jackman’s body in Wolverine, maybe you’d like to know how he got in shape. Maybe you’d like to emulate it. Now you can, and in person. Jackman is auctioning off two workouts, valued at $30,000, to support the Summit School for students with learning and adjustment challenges.
These aren’t just any workouts either. They’re part of the actor’s training to prepare for the next X-Men Origins movie. Don’t be intimidated, Jackman told E! Online that he’s willing to calibrate the session to the needs of the lucky winner. “If someone comes in and says, ‘I want to try it exactly how you train. I want to just go as hard as we can.’ We’ll go there,” Jackman said. “But if you want to come and have a light sweat, want to have a bit of fun, maybe an autograph or two, you can do that as well.”
The first workout will involve a training side-by-side with Jackman and his fitness trainer Don Scott of Jim Karas Personal Training. A week later, the winner will get into the boxing ring with the actor Michael Olajide, Jr. Olajide is a private coach who specializes in boxing fitness techniques and works with a host of celebrities including Mark Wahlberg, John Leguizamo and supermodel Iman.
