The little drops that trick your body into thinking it’s pregnant to mobilize fat have been getting a lot of praise from Jersey Shore‘s J-WOWW (also known as Jenni Faley, for those who don’t watch the show). hCG stands for Human Chorionic Gonapotropin and the diet is effective for both men and women, promising dramatic results. “My girlfriend lost 40 pounds in six weeks on the plan,” said the TV star, according to the Examiner.com. “She tried everything and it worked for her. So I thought if it worked for her, it would work for me.”
J-WOWW has gone so far as to sell the product on her website, where she writes: “MY DOCTOR HAS FORMULATED THE ULTIMATE IN HCG… ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TRY IT ONCE… AND NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE… YOUR APPETITE WILL GO AWAY AND SO WILL THE LBS.”
We’re not sure if that’s 100 percent enthusiasm or if J-WOWW’s caps lock is permanently on, but either way, her message comes across loud and clear. She reportedly passed the drops on to co-star Snooki, who is a follower of the cookie diet. Other celebrities, like Britney Spears, have also been rumored to have lost weight on the highly controversial hCG diet.
