There have been a number of unusual developments in season 11 of The Biggest Loser. Aside from the early announcement that this season will be Jillian Michaels’ last and the introduction of new trainers, there have been a number of wrinkles in the usual events of the season. There have been a number of intentional weight-gains, thrown weigh-ins and unexpected strategic choices. But not all is fair in reality TV, and rumor has it that one contestant is learning that the hard way.
The rumor, to be exact, is that a contestant on the currently airing season of The Biggest Loser will be disqualified. DietsInReview has confirmed the story with a reliable source, but no one is at liberty to disclose any further details. In fact, we believe contestants and other persons involved have had to sign confidentiality agreements.
Jen Wielgus at PhillyBurbs.com got the following statement from NBC Publicity: “Information regarding who is eliminated on the show is confidential and viewers will have to tune in to find out what happens.” Jen further speculates that the real reason behind the disqualification will not be explained on the show.

Tara should not have been allowed to compete in that competition. Absolutely unfair to everyone from this season!

First of all Tara is one of my favorite former contestents. That being said, she IS NOT a contestant now so she should never have been in the challenge. Although Rulon is not a favorite of mine, I do believe he got gipped out of the winning prize. Perhaps he did too?????????

I think Rulon probably was so aggravated that Tara won. He was so vague about why he was leaving the ranch. He always seemed to act like he was better than everybody else. (He should take a good look at himself. I doubt we will ever know the entire story.

I figured it would be Rulon when you first discussed the DQ. He always seemed to be 'better than' the other contestants in his own mind. Like he was always thinking to himself, 'why am I here with all these fat people?' It ticks me off because he was wasted space on campus, when that spot COULD have gone to someone who would be IN the process completely and whole-heartedly. It's like he got that spot because of WHO he was back in his Olympian days not who he is NOW...

I LOVE it that there are so many girls in the final 5!!!! GIRL POWER!

As an applicant for season 11 I am so sad to hear this. I'm sure I am not alone either.

Casting is and always will be an imperfect process and no one can really be blamed. The casting directors are not fortune tellers and they can't possibly see the future. So it isn't right to blame them for what happens.
That's just my opinion.
